Hello, good sir.
Oh my gosh, I’ve been busy. Literally sitting at my computer from the time I come home to when I go to bed getting ready for work and doing college coursework. Sorry! I know it’s been excuse city around here, and I hope this summer to have some more time to get back to drawing. Promises, promises, I know.
But anyway, here is a “commissioned” piece I did for my cousin Kaitlyn’s boyfriend Tom and his dog Henley. They are truly gentlemen.
So first, we’ve been totally wrapped up in house stuff and not to throw excuses all over…but I will anyway. I’m mega-bummed that I haven’t had the energy and drive to get more cattoons done. Don’t worry, I will not disappear for too long but don’t expect anything prolific for the next few weeks, anyway. 🙂
My cousin, who I featured on my blog earlier, made a shout out to Duncan and Smudge with her own cattoon inspired nail design. I know I am slacking on putting up my own cattoons and should totally add a cattoon to this…but I’m tired and this was too cool not to share. 😉 Enjoy!
Nails never looked so good.
I literally lol’d (and I never use that phrase but in the most extraordinary of circumstances, and this is one of those momentous occasions).
So I have been peepin’ on my cousin’s blog and she kicks butt for cool ideas and has what looks like incredibly patience and skills for detail. Above is just one of the really cool things she posts. So if you want cool ideas for painting your nails, check out her blog Mixed Mama!
Plus, here’s a picture of me if I decided to do my nails. I would be proud and sassy. It would not make me look like I have monster hands, which unfortunately this drawing kind of does, haha.
This is fake.
So last year today Adam and I took the plunge and got hitched. And we’re still here to tell the tale.
I drew the above drawing based on the above photo. A few words….
- I was trying to make us look a little creepy in the drawing, I didn’t think we had bad teeth and saggy eyes.
- The photo date is completely wrong. I don’t know why my cousin’s camera thought it was Christmas of 2008, but I suppose this picture is a gift…… ….. ….. …..pun intended.
- Whenever I saw my cousin throughout that day, he kept talking about the “big chair” and I was so confused. Then, I understood. And it was magnificent.
So happy day to us, Adam. Let’s go get steak.
